Catching Up

I haven't been on in a while, other than blogging about Twilight, so here:

A little while ago I learned I was officially a Rhythm Express techie (backstage person) which is oober exciting. Rhythm is one of Fairfield's show choirs. Choraliers and Pure Elegance (the all girls group) are the High School choirs, while Rhythm is for Middle School studentsy people. Their Preview Show was on the 21st and it was totally beast. I'd link to it but it takes a little while to get those up on youtube so past performances will have to do for now. (i'll let you know as soon as they're up.) They're really good though, and you can check out the Choraliers on Saturday, Dec. 6th 1 pm, Liberty Building for the Annual Nativity Display. :D

School's school. My team walked down to McDonald's some Friday ago. It was fun except on the way back we saw 2 dead birds. And it provoked my social studies teacher (which if you knew him, would not be a surprise) to turn to his more teasing side... which isn't hard for him. He's hilarious, though, so it's ok. He kept going up to random students and going "Hey!! Watch out for that bird!!!" causing a lot of people to jump. It was really funny until he threw a piece of bark at me and screamed my name, telling me to watch out. I saw him through something but I still ended up being blond enough to scream and totally freak out. Still, it was oober hilarious.

I babysat and had a band concert and dance which is always fun. I'm excited, for my classes toe shoe number we're doing a Phantom of the Opera medley thingy. And we are going to try to do Taylor Swift's song Love Story next year. :)

We finally reached Thanksgiving Break and it's gone by so fast, I have to go back to school tomorrow. :( Over break, though, I went bowling with some friends, which was fun, even though I got creamed. My friend ended up falling on his face when it was his turn. Don't ask, I don't know how he managed that. But it was hilarious and we got it on video!

We went to the Robertsons for Thanksgiving dinner, like every year. It was awesome. There were crazy amount of people there - like 28 or something like that. But it was beast and yummylicious! :)

Umm... I guess that's about it. Yup.. =D

Rotten Apples

Twilight...

Awesomely fantastic book. That story is beast wrapped in a bindingy thing. They're the best books I've ever read. The movie...

Well, it pretty much kinda sorta sucked on ice!

Kristen Stewart can't act worth crap, at least in that movie. It seemed like she forgot her lines or something cuz her stuttering in every other sentence really bugged me. And she was oober awkward, especially with Robert Pattinson. Zero chemistry there. Just empty space with a bunch of awkward turtles swimming around. Way over dramatic with not so dramatic scenes, too.

Every scene that was serious in the book was a funny part in the movie because they couldn't act and it seemed so fake. And every funny one in the book was serious and stiff in the movie. Like when Bella figures out Edward's a vampire. First of all, they're in the freaking car, not the forest. Secondly, he's laughing at her because she doesn't care that he could be planning on killing her in .2 seconds. They switched up the scenes a lot in the movie. That always sucks. Like with this one or the first kiss scene. (in a forest, not her room!!)

Oh!! The bedroom scene.. WHAT THE CRAP!!!!! That was the worst kissing scene in movie history. And when Edward was sucking out the venom from Bella's arm and "couldn't stop." What?!? It looked like he was about to eat her whole, he was sucking on so much of her arm!! And she was panting so hard that it looked almost like a fish out of water.

But I don't think the entire no chemistry issue was Rob's fault. He may not have looked a thing like Edward, but he did a good job as Cedric in Harry Potter so he can act. He did the bestish he could with what he had.. ish..

As for the other characters, Rosalie could have been meaner and Esme could have been a little more motherly, but they were still good. Emmett was sweetness and majorly hot, Carlisle was beasty, Alice was the perfect amount of crazy, perky, and funny and Jasper was hilariously amazing!!! Her friends (Angela Weber, Jessica Stanley, and Eric Yorkie) were cast really well, especially Mike Newton.. nuff said. The Nomads were awesome. Laurent, Victoria, and James were funny at the right times, seriously creepy at the right times. Charlie was amazingly funny and the awkward dad he was supposed to be. Taylor Lautner did a great job as Jacob, even though he was only shown for an itty bit of the movie. (Although, they didn't get really into the Quiluete stories much.) But I can't tell you if he'll do well in the next ones.

Edward's glitter really ticked me off. He was supposed to be almost brighter than the sun, sparkling. How is he supposed to dazzle and make that a really sweet quote if he can't manage to glow in the sun?!? Instead it looked like computer generated or glued on glitter. I could barely tell that something was happening!! Grr!

The movie didn't flow as well as the books, it seemed sort of choppy. It was a huge disappointment and I think that if I hadn't read the book first, I would have been like "This is stupid, no way am I reading those crap books." Which isn't fair cuz they're beast books, not crap books. =(

I feel like I'm missing something about the movie that I wanted to say. But that's probably just cuz the movie was missing a lot of somethings.. or I'll remember it right after I publish the post. In which case, just find me and ask about it if you really want to know.

But anyway, I called this post "Rotten Apples" because you know how people say you shouldn't settle for the rotten, bad apples on the bottom of the tree? Well, don't settle for the crappy, stupid movie, READ THE BOOKS!!!

PS~ Question: Is it bad if you liked the characters except for the main 1 1/2? (I half liked Edward, half didn't.)

Poems and Movies

This is going to be a short post but I'm gonna post it anyway.. I think haiku's are pretty cool, like my quote me for today..

"Haiku's are simple
but sometimes they don't make sense
refrigerator"

Isn't that funny?!

And PS.. TWILIGHT COMES OUT IN 6 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grr!!

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm tired right now and I can't really think of anything good to post about. That is mainly because our house is being swarmed by stupid, annoying, icky, and just plain mean gnats! They keep flying at our faces and buzzing by our ears and landing all over everything!

Besides the annoyance of the spelling of their name, (whoever thought to put a g in front of nat??) all they do is fly around and bother everybody. No one likes them, no one can focus, I HATE GNATS!!

Why can't they all just die? They have absolutely no purpose here except to try our patience and I can think of better ways to do that (and they don't include random swats at the sky every 2 seconds!!)

While writing this post, I counted how many I saw just flying around, their brains too small to comprehend just how annoying they really are.. 11. This is a short post and there are eleven stupid bugs messing up my train of thought.

So grr, gnats!!! Stay away from me!!!!

PS~ It also feels like they're all over you, picking at your brain...

Are you the Sweet Invention of a Lover's Dream

or are you merely as wonderful as you seem?

That's a line in a song from the Roger and Hammerstein version of Cinderella, that I love. Just the fact that Cinderella is a Disney movie makes it beast, plus the really cute story line. I like the songs in this version of it, especially this one. (Do I love you because)

My Quote Me for today also comes from this song. It's really a cute one, just before Cinderella runs away. But anywayz, here's my quote: "Do I love you because you're beautiful or are you beautiful because I love you?!"

Isn't that sweet?!?

PS~ here's the link to the song plus there's a bunch of other songs from this version on the side listy thingy!

Teddy Bears

So I am very tired at the moment but I realized I haven't put a Quote Me in a while so here is one.

There have been comments (mom, cough) that I am a little obsessed with Twilight. To prove them right, my quote is from Emmett, my favorite giant teddy. There are so many Emmett quotes that show his funny, cute, and just plain beasty personallity but after some careful consideration, I finally picked my quote (I still can't believe I only picked one!)

But here it is: "I'm really glad Edward didn't kill you.. things are more fun with you around." (talking to Bella, duh)

There are so many more, it was really hard to choose. But it's funny so.. :)

My Personel Game of Chess

POSSIBLE SPOILER (IF YOU HAVENT READ NEW MOON/OTHER TWILIGHT BOOKS, STAY AWAY) I PUT THIS CUZ I HATE SPOILERS!!

Anywayz..

Even though, if you knew the books, referring to a game of chess in my title doesnt fit the book Twilight/it's movie. It does, however, fit my background - I couldnt find any apple ones. :'(

So.. I know i'm not the only one oober excited about November 21. And, ask Katie, i'm excited! I am constantly visiting Stephanie Meyer's officail website (it's linked where it says 'twilight' on my blog description-i think that's what it is-if you couldnt tell) and it's fun. Plus it's very informational. Like did you know that Stephanie Meyer had a dream (the middle of Twilight, then she later added the beginning and ending) and poof! there was an amazing book!! Or that she hadnt planned a sequel at first so Jacob Black's charater just kind of grew. Even as she had him telling Bella the Quileute legends, Stephanie had no clue this character would turn into a werewolf in New Moon. See, very interesting.

But anyway...

I, obviously, love these books so I will provide a um few links in this post to some pretty awesome Twilight stuff. Here we go:

Have fun (i know i did! :D)

El Presidento

So this year is special because it's a voting year right? (and because we survived another president - yay us!)

But now we face a dilemma. Who should we pick as the future leader of our country? On one hand there's Obama and on the other there's McCain. (Why do we say 'on one hand' and 'on the other hand?' That's so silly, why can't it be feet?) But anywayz..

This year, I don't want one of them more strongly than the other. (In my head I'm still screaming "Woo, Mitt Romney!!") I would then, on not having strong opinions on a certain candidate, follow what my family says because they're smart (most of the time - love you guys!) and because I don't get to vote until whoever wins this election is done in the White House so it'll be a new set of candidates with a new set of issues.

But this year my family fully embraces the Ohio swing vote reputation. There are four of us who can vote (aww! freaky!) and we cancel each other out. Yes, 2 for Obama, 2 for McCain. Isn't that exciting!?!

So, I think if I had to choose, it would be McCain (abortion sucks, that's all i'll say about it) but I'd much rather vote on Bugs Bunny. Cuz, let's face it, if he can fool that Fudd guy and still have his carrot, he can run a country!

I'm It

So my mama tagged me and here is the thingy thing..

Here are the rules: "MY UNSPECTACULAR QUIRKS"
1.Link to the person who tagged you
2.Mention the rules on your blog
3.Tell 7 unspectacular quirks about you
4.Tag 6 following bloggers by linking to them
5.Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged

1. link to mama's blog.. check

2. the rules are mentioned above so.. check

3. crap this is harder than you think..
1) I am deadly afraid of clowns, they're evil, gonna take over the world, want to eat your face, do I need to continue?
2) The fact that this taggy thingy bothers me because it says 7 quirky facts instead of a nice and easy 5 or 10.
3) My OCDness (half obsessive compulsive disorder, - i get it from my mom :) - half obsessive cullen disorder, nough said.)
4) I love Disney, they make the best and most special movies ever that, I do admit, sometimes make me cry (whether it's the classics - Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Lion King, etc. or the newbies - Enchanted, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Carribean, etc.)... plus Disney just plain rox my sox!
5) I'm sometimes a perfectionist - another trait from mommy - but only sometimes.. like my room is literally world war 3 but if i'm writing something and it's not perfect, i rip it up and start over.. unless it took forever and i was almost done, then I just suck it up and be oober mad until I eventually forget about it (hope that wasn't confusing for anyone else, cause it gave me a headache).
6) I think this one should be #1.. and that maybe #3 should be #2.. and that #1 should be #3.. but anywayz, I'm a total CHOCOHOLIC, - another 'from mom' quirk - eating chocolate is experiencing heaven on earth.. plus it's yummy in my tummy!
7) This is really quirky and stupid but, not even just when i'm starving but also when I just feel like eating food, I eat stuff I don't like and sometimes think is disgusting (like icky beef stew, yucky pineapple, stinky twizzlers, pucky candy corn, etc.)
unspectacular quirks.. check

4. i tag Brett, Ryan, Sarah, Katie, Aimee, and Sister Chapin.. (ps - i know some of you have already been tagged but who cares? this could just be motivation to do it!)
tag others.. check

5. tell the tagged they're tagged.. check

And I'm done, i could probably think of other quirky things about me, but you'll just have to deal..

Look at This And Then Tell Me it Didn't Just Make Your Day.. And Then I'll Report You to Santa for Being a Liar Instead of a Truther

And yes, it made my day! :)

Babam I Can Fly

So I was being bored and random (my brothers can prove it) and I was saying a whole bunch of goofy stuff.. I don't even remember most of basically pretty much all of it, yup, don't remember a thing.

Except for when I said "If I had a superpower, it would probably being flying. Cause how awesome would that be, seriously, it would be like babam, I can fly!!" (hehe, look at the title!) And that was like exactly word for word what I possibly, could have, maybe, maybe not, said not to the precise saying from my mouth.. Huh?

Yea anyway.. So I think that will me my Quote Me for the day. "Babam, I can fly!"

QOTD

So in school (especially in science - eww!) we have a lot of "QOTD"s. Which, duh, stands for question of the day. But i'm special and I say that my QOTD stands for "quote of the day/quote me" and since i'm cool, i win!

My 'Quote Me' today beith: "I hope it hurt you too when we broke up, but I still love you so I pray it didn't." Don't ask why, it just popped into my head like the rest of the stuff in there...

PS~ I forgot: Because I am an awesome person that is cooliravioli x10, I also have a question of the day! (but only today, unless it's not only today...) Yeah, so it be "If a turtle loses it's shell, is it homeless or naked?" In my opinion, it's both. But since i'm so understanding and a sweet listener, please tell me your answers..

So yup, answer, don't forget the "quote me", and yeah...

Cuppycakeys!!!!

I'm feeling very happy and excited for my new template! It's awesome and very sweet! Which is funny because my background is now cuppycakeys!! I love cuppycakeys - they're so yummy but they're also really cute. You know the types of food that look really beast on paper: cherries, apples, cookies, fun yummy stuff that looks adorably edible and cute on paper, etc... Well cuppycakes also go on that list...

So anyway, be jealous of my amazing food that'll make your mouth water, your tummy to grumble, and your brain (if you have one, just saying) to go "awww!!!"

If Birdies Can Fly Why Can't We?.. Oh Yea, Cause We Suck

So this is my Quote Me for today.

It's pretty sweet and it, like yesterday, has a background story! Yeah!!

So my dad is getting old (we still love you!) and he forgot (again) where he put his cell phone. So he had me check upstairs and yup it wasn't there. So he had me check outside in the craptastic car, Evita/Junky. (junky's my nickname for it because it is the official vehicle of loser town) It was there. But as I was walking inside, I noticed the moon was blinding me and I tripped and almost fell. It was bright. So that's where this one came from:

"When I look up at the moon, stars, and sky, I wish I could fly." Which is so true cause how beast would that be?!?

'T' and a 'V'

So this is my second quote me (yea!!) and there's actually a background story to it.

My little sister and I were laying on my parents bed watching tv. I think she was (obviously) really tired or, now that I think about it, she was possibly being serious.. Anyway, she randomly goes:

"I hate it how they put a 't' and a 'v' for tv. I hate it but I love it!"

Yup that's right, we're all nuts at my house!!

Had a Kind of Poetry to It

For all of you looneys out there, the title of this post is a quote from one of the best shows ever, Firefly. And to anyone who knows of this beasty show, sorry my post isn't about it.

So why the heck did I name it this?

My sister also has a blog (link here!) and she is always putting her friends poems on it. (well, really she says always but since she only has 3 of them it doesn't exactly qualify as 'always' so in my opinion she's just a plain goof)

Anyway so here they are: (yes, all three.. have fun reading that!)

Falling in love is a dangerous thing.
there's no telling just where you might land,
and no telling if you'll just keep falling
or if someone will put out their hand.
Putting faith like that into a lover
doesn't make for a true love at all,
it just leads to dependence and heartbreak
and pain when you land from the fall.
Saying someone is the sun in your sky
and the reason the stars are so bright
can lead to infinite cloudy days
and a velvety blackness each night.
And saying that you live only for them
or they are the beats of your heart
puts you at risk for a premature death
if it happens to all fall apart.
Declaring that they are all you see
and that they are each breath that you take
will in time affect you with blindness
or cause you to suffocate.
These are mistakes that all lovers make
that they usually don't even see,
they don't realize the true definition of love,
the kind that lasts for eternity.

well...
My love for you isn't like that.

You aren't the reason my sun shines each day
Your are not the only one I can see.
You didn't put all of the stars in the sky
nor are you every breath come from me.
you're not the reason my heart keeps on beating,
my life does not center on you,
I am not hopeless if i cant be yours...
without you to myself I'm still true.

instead...

I want to share the sunlight with you,
the warmth on our faces as we walk,
I want to be with you under the stars...
just sitting close with no need to talk.
Instead of you being all that i see
I want to see everything with you.
Our dreams and fears and hopes and trials,
and everything we do.
And every breath I can share with you
is one that would be treasured...
and laying close, it'd be so amazing
to feel our hearts beating together.
who i am is not determined by "us",
I do not desperately need you,
But I'd enjoy your close company more than you know...
i guess that's what i mean when i say "i love you".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"As I glance down at the beautiful blade,
Remembering all of the horrible mistakes I made,
Tears cascading down my cheek,
Feeling dead and spiritually weak.

Pretty pills lay on the table beside me,
Resorting to this perverted remedy,
I plan to shear open wounds unto my skin,
Realizing the darkness shining within.

But here stands a picture of my savior, my soul mate,
The one who has morphed my awful fate.
What would they say of my cruel mind?
Would I be leaving something behind?

I lower the razor of fate to the floor,
I refuse to let myself cry anymore.
Too much keeps me by my beloved's side,
I slowly realize it's only part of me that died.

So I gaze towards the once empty Heaven's in prayer,
Knowing now that I can find Him anywhere.

When I feel lost or in eternal pain,
When I feel like life is in utter disdain,
I look to him and smile,
And know life isn't all that vile."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What does the richest man want but can not buy?
What is the correct answer to every "why"?
What's superior to perfection, what's inferior to sin?
What's safer than protection, what's more interior than in?
What's luckier than seven, what's healthier than well?
What's better than heaven, what's worse than hell?
What's shorter than a moment, what's longer than forever?
What in the world has existed never?
What doesn't happen for a reason?
What's colder than freezin'?
What can a blind man see, what can a numb person feel?
What's more than everything, what's less than not anything?
What can make each moment reappear?
What can make everything disappear?
What's darker than black, what can a deaf man hear?
What rhymes with silver, purple, orange, or month?
What's hotter than the Z Machine, what's faster than light?
What's more unlucky than thirteen, what's lighter than white?
What's bigger than the universe, whats smaller than an atom?
The answer is something we simply can not fathom."

Oh, and I almost forgot, because of recent events, I decided that I would write my own short, really bad poem. Here goes:

"When I look at you, I cringe.." (Nobody ever said poems have to rhyme and besides, for some people this probably did have a kind of poetry to it! jk)

Spontaneous

What does spontaneous mean? To me it means "me" but then a lot of words could be used to describe me..

Whenever I hear it though, it reminds me of happy feet.. (yea if you clicked the link you understood why)

But anyway, the dictionary doesn't agree with me. It's definition of spontaneous is "given to acting upon sudden impulses."

That's too complicated for a lot of people in this world so i'll just say it's "random."

Yea so that was it..

Quote Me

I love quotes, especially good ones. They're so fun! :) But anyway.. here's my quote of the day. (i'll try to keep you guys updated with my quotes but you know me, i don't exactly get on every day.. still, i'll try)

So yup, my 'Quote Me' (that's what i'm calling it) quote is "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, and i probably deserved it!"

Hope you enjoyed and got the true meaning of the quote. (Which wasn't wow jessica you deserve a lot, it was me begging you not to fool/confuse me!)

Love Story

Yea so this is pretty much my favorite country song ever (and possibly my song of the month) which isn't that big since basically the only country I listen to is Taylor Swift (and yup this is her newest) plus a couple other people. Anyway:

"We were both young when I first saw you.
I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns.
See you make your way through the crowd
and say hello;

Little did I know
That you were Romeo; you were throwing pebbles,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet."
And I was crying on the staircase,
begging you, 'Please, don't go.'"

And I said,
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"

So I sneak out to the garden to see you.
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew.
So close your eyes; escape this town for a little while.
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter,
And my daddy said "Stay away from Juliet,"
But you were everything to me; I was begging you, 'Please, don't go,'"

And I said,
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'

Romeo save me - they're tryin' to tell me how to feel;
This love is difficult, but it's real.
Don't be afraid; we'll make it out of this mess.
It's a life story - baby just say "Yes.'"

Oh.

I got tired of waiting,
Wondering if you were ever comin' around.
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town,

And I said,
"Romeo save me - I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come.
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think-"

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said,
"Marry me, Juliet - you'll never have to be alone.
I love you and that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad - go pick out a white dress;
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"

Oh, oh.

We were both young when I first saw you..."

(click this magic button to listen to it.. do it, its beast!)

Nothing Gold Can Stay

nature's first green is gold
her hardest hue to hold
her early leaf's a flower
but only so an hour
then leaf subsides to leaf
so eden sank to grief
so dawn goes down today
nothing gold can stay
~robert frost

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was a poem i had to learn for my english class this year. It's in the book we were reading, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. The book was ok and i have no clue why i'm posting about it. It was actually pretty good (but kind of random and they say dig a lot because it's a 60's book)so yea.. The movie was really dumb. If you want to know how old the book is, here's a hint: Tom Cruise played Steve, one of the main character's seventeen year old friend.

OCD

OK has anyone else read twilight? I haven't been on in forever so I figured why not do a post on the best books ever!! :) Oh and the title is OCD because I have been recently diagnosed with Obsessive Cullen Disorder. (Yes, I'm serious.)

I started reading them over the summer and immediately fell in love. (particularly with Edward :]) I usually wouldn't go search out a vampire story if I wanted to find a good book, but I absolutely loved those books!! :D

Guess what?! I just deleted a lot of my post because it was seriously longer than even my dad or mom's posts and I wasn't anywhere near done. So I decided instead of making you read the longest thing in your life, you can comment your thoughts on twilight and i can comment mine. Sounds like fun, yea I think i'll do that..

:)

Fun in the Sun?!?

Hey people of earth.. i hope.. just kidding!! :) So... What's up with you? I'm pretty bored right now..

Anyway, the reason my title is fun in the sun is because i got TOTALLY sunburned on Saturday. I was at the Rolling Hills swim pool with my friend and i forgot sunscreen.. i know i'm stupid now shut up. :)

now.. So it really hurts (my shoulders and face that is) and it's taking away my perkiness. :( Which (according to the frowning smiley face) makes me very sad. And it's really sad cuz i'm not as witty ... hehe.

Oh and we also got a swimming pool. It's a baby one (Laura got it for her birthday). But it's funny cuz I totally thought it was a 10 x 6 pool, turns out it was a 10 x 6 x 2 pool. Yea, it's a kiddie pool. Which also makes me sad. See: = (

So that's basically it for now. That's my boring life.. So I guess what i'm really trying to say is... ENTERTAIN ME!! lol

Wednesday, June 18, 2008

Hmm.. I don't know what to title this post but happy b-day to me sounds good cuz that's the most important part of it!! :]

Ok so i know i haven't been on in forever.. really sorry about that!!

So what's happening in my life? Well, since April (when i last posted) i've had dance (which is beast! : ]) and school (which is not so beast but it's supposedly "educational"..)

Plus at school i had to take 2 proficiency tests at the end of the year, which sucked! :( which, according to the frowning smiley face, made me sad.. (that's true btw, it did make me sad.) They were in math and science, 2 of my least fav classes.

I was in the Arts Fair for band. I guess it was fun.. Well, it was after we played our music cuz a bunch of my friends and i just wondered around the high school for a while and ended up getting lost at least 6 or 7 times!! It was soo cool!! = )

Happy Mother's Day!! (yea, i missed that very special holiday that is so important to me cuz it's celebrating the wonderful person that is my mom! (do i get brownie points for that?? i guess we'll talk about that later, wink, wink..)

I went to my friends b-day party which was soo fun except i couldn't sleep over cuz it was on a Sat..

Oh yea, my team went to Harbin Park this year for a field trip. It was really fun except that one kid broke his arm playing kickball, another person fractured her ankle playing that same deadly game, and my stomach really hurt after we ate our lunch.. no, actually, it was a little before that, but anywayz.. it's ok though cuz when we got back we watched a movie and the next day my friend gave me a get-well-card that was soo cute and hilarious.. at least to me (it had some inside jokes on it that most people wouldn't get..)

MY B-DAY WAS ON JUNE 1ST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That deserves a lot of exclamation points, trust me!! So, yup, i am finally 13 and i already can't wait to turn 14!

I had a fun b-day.. it was on a Sun so i got to see all my church friends and we skipped all our classes to have a party for me!! Jk, we wouldn't skip Sacrament Meeting!! Lol If you know my parents, you know that's not true, they would never let me skip out on church. (not that i would ever want to..)

As my big BIG present this year i got my ears pierced!!!!!!! Yea for me!!! My dad teases me all the time about it. "Yea, you finally have two holes in your ear!!!" The buttface! Lol I also got my hair cut and now i have side bangs, too!! I think it looks good if you straighten the bangs.. :)

Im supposedly getting other gifts too, but we'll see... Im just kidding, i was there when my mom bought them, but i can't tell you what they are cuz i don't know yet.. cough,cough..

We (Katie, Laura, and i) had our dance recital! It was really fun!! It was also funny cuz near the end our dance teacher walks into the dressing room area and was like "What's going on? The closing is starting like right now!" We were all scrambling around and it probably wasn't our best closing but it was fun..

Our last day of school was on the Mon after that. It would've been on the Fri before that (the day before the dance recital, in case you wanted to know) but we had to make up a day cuz of too many snow days!! It totally sucked!! > ( (does that look like an angry face, i can't tell...)

Happy Father's Day!! Even if it's not as important as Mother's Day (luv ya, papa!! = p) i still care about it.. Lol jk

Im going over to a friends house later this week and then the next day it'll be Laura's 7th b-day. (which she doesn't let anyone forget) So Laura will be 6 (yes, i know i said it will be her 7th b-day and i was right because even though she's only turning six, it was her birthday on the day of her birth, which still counts!! O yea, im smartical!!!) and going into 1st grade, which is just plain freaky.

Nothing else has really happened with me so you have officially been updated about my life!! Yea for you!

Who's your American Idol?

Mama has just informed me that I should write in my blog (which, sorry, I haven't done - mainly to lack of time) in a while..

So.. who's your American Idol?

Mine is David Archuleta and he should also be to anyone who has ears and can listen to music. He's an AMAZING singer, he's HOT, and he's MORMON! Life couldn't get any better than that! And I can give you many more reasons why he should win..

but that would be a very, very long list in my opinion..

And I'm not one of those crazed fans who would google them and track them down. Also, I think it's kinda dumb to comment on the videos. Well, it's more that I think it's kinda dumb what some people will write. Seriously, though, they'll write things like "Are you single?" or "Please tell me where you live!" (both of which I have actually seen on the comment listy thing.)

Sometimes it is fun to read some of the comments, though. Like when someone writes something you don't like, you just have to tell them they're dumb idiots (is there a smart idiot?) who have no taste in music and "if you don't like them so much why are you listening to the video?"

Some people get really mad or sad when their favorite gets voted off (let's face it, who wants to see their fav go home?) but there is a limit to crazy and, let me tell you, some people have crossed that invisible (I feel the need to say "invisible" because, you never know, you could be sitting/standing next to someone reading this and they're looking around for a line drawn on the ground saying, "Oh, no! What if the line is right in front of the fridge and i'm starving!?") where was I? Oh, yea.. invisible line a little too much..

So, whether your Idol is David A. (woot, woot!) or some other contestant, just listen to their music, no idolizing! (you can laugh now cuz, you know, "idolizing" and the name of the show is "American IDOL!" ha, ha... that was really dumb, sorry you had to read that..)

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

So I realized that last time I wrote I didn't finish my thought. (Which surprisingly happens a lot to me.. OK, even I had to laugh at that one. It really happens to me a lot though...) Yea, I never explained how I was on my death bed. I'm really sorry if you started freaking out cuz you thought I was dying or something.

But anyway, the real reason I was on my death bed (that is so fun to say! That sounds weird, but still it is a funny word or group of words, death bed!) was because I was sick all week and I wasn't in school for that week. No, that's a lie. I went home early on Monday.

So you can relax now.. sort of.

I thought I was all better. But I stayed/am home yesterday/today. It really sucks! I'm tired of being sick. And I'm tired of being home. And I'm tired of all the make-up work. And I'm tired of being tired! Being sick is pretty much my life right now.

This is a craptastic winter! You know that rain song, "Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day." The one Dora sang to the rain cloud yesterday - that's what happens when you get sick, you learn things..

Anyway, I wish the song would go like, "Snow, snow, go away. Don't come again another day." because I am really learning to hate snow.

So that was basically it. I don't have any smarty facts for you today.. I can't think straight, I'm too sick!

She lives!!

So guess what?!? I'm not dead!! So you can throw your parties celebrating my return. (Sorry about all that party stuff almost going to waste.) And to those of you who were prepared to send out a search party looking for me or were ready to have my funeral (I don't like you for not having enough faith in me, by the way! I can finally say "Oh ye of little faith" *he, he*)

What was my point??

Oh, yea, I was making it up as I go..

So.. start calling around telling them that it's all canceled.

Seriously, though, the reason I was absent for such a long time is that I was sick on and off like crazy! And then last week I was literally on my death bed. (If I accidentally left you out of my will, remember: I'm just a kid! Then again, for a couple of people - not mentioning any names *cough, Papa, cough* - I might have done that on purpose! But to tell you the truth, I don't see why it would matter if it was deliberate or not. I'D BE DEAD!! And so there's not much you could do to get your revenge..)

What was I saying?? I can't remember (or maybe I can't think of anything else to write!?!) Either way, I'm getting off. (ttyl - unless I don't talk to you later...)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!! Well, actually it's a little late for that, but technically it's still the new year, so Happy New Year!

So that was basically it. That's the only holiday that's past so far in 2008, right?

That's weird, saying it's 2008, because it is.

Anyway, I'm done for now.
