Day 3: Your parents

Today's the anniversary of the day my parents met. My mom was 15 and my dad was 16. They were at a summer program called Honor's Academy (now it's Scholar's Academy) at BYU in Provo. My dad, being the sap that he is, says that he knew from the first time he saw her that he was going to marry my mom. They have 6 kids; the oldest is going to be home from his mission in Everett, Washington this month and the youngest is the biggest drama queen ever. (Like right now she's drowning dramatically in a pile of blankets.)

My mom works two times a week as a CNA at the nursing home in town. My dad is an admission counselor at Culver-Stockton college. They also blog (a lot) and love spending time with us as a family.

I love my family and I'm so lucky that I got stuck with them. :) My parents are the best! They do so much and work so hard for us! I want to be just like my mom when I grow up and I want the kind of relationship my parents have. I've really learned a lot from them.
