Nothing Gold Can Stay

nature's first green is gold
her hardest hue to hold
her early leaf's a flower
but only so an hour
then leaf subsides to leaf
so eden sank to grief
so dawn goes down today
nothing gold can stay

That was a poem i had to learn for my english class this year. It's in the book we were reading, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. The book was ok and i have no clue why i'm posting about it. It was actually pretty good (but kind of random and they say dig a lot because it's a 60's book)so yea.. The movie was really dumb. If you want to know how old the book is, here's a hint: Tom Cruise played Steve, one of the main character's seventeen year old friend.

Next time I'd suggest using a larger font - "normal" works well... lol

I love that poem; I really liked the book; the movie was so-so. That's my review.
